One year down. 2,154,651,234,046 more to go

We celebrated our first anniversary Sunday August 28. We spent the day inside awaiting Irene. Our original plan was to spend the weekend in Orlando, We had to reschedule due to Mikes travels so we're going for Thanksgiving! So for our anniversary we spent all day Saturday together, we went into Providence and looked for a house to rent, Went shopping at Urban, Then went to dinner at Kon mmmm it was so good! We didn't want to take any chances doing anything on Sunday because of the Hurricane. Sunday We woke up and the Hurricane had begun. Some trees had already fallen over snapped and branches everywhere and it was only 8 am so we figured we were going to have a BIG storm. Well I guess lucky for us the storm did not exceed expectations. At first I was pissed because they hyped this thing up so much and all we had was wind and rain. I've been in non Hurricane weather and had it worse than that. Well we hurried and got some laundry done in case we lost power. I cooked some yummy cinnamon sugar pull apart bread. The entire day we never lost power. (except for maybe one minute when we woke up) More than half of  the people in Rhode Island lost power and still today have none, they say it will take up to four days to get it turned back on! Im SOOOOO greatful we have our power! So the day was spent indoors all day which was nice to just relax with each other! I love Mike so so much and he is a Great husband, I could never ask for anything more!
On Monday we drove around to see if there was any damage anywhere else. Yes there was, I guess we were a little protected where we were but driving around showed us the storm was a little worse than we thought. So many trees, power lines, branches, and leaves were on the ground. Parks were closed beaches shut down. Kinda sad but we are so so lucky we didn't get it as bad as everywhere else.
MMM CINNAMON SUGAR BREAD ( I kind of burnt it but still tasted okay)
